What builders took away

What they left with.

Module 1

Clinical AI assistant

Doctor and patient audio in, a diarised SOAP note out, with Amazon Transcribe Medical, Amazon Comprehend Medical and Amazon Bedrock in an Australian Region.

Module 2

Imaging AI and MLOps

A 1 GB chest CT streamed to a phone with AWS HealthImaging, and Amazon SageMaker Pipelines retraining as new images arrive.

Module 3

FHIR integration pipeline

A messy PDF patient record turned into an AU Core compatible FHIR resource in AWS HealthLake, orchestrated by AWS Step Functions.

Compliance and funding

A path to audit and production

Vanta on the HIPAA and SOC 2 path, and AWS on co-investment, from a funded assessment to production.

1 / 4

Who was in the room.

Dozens of health AI founders and builders.

Why we ran it

Three walls every health AI founder hits.

Australian patient data has to stay in Australia. The compliance stack runs from HIPAA and SOC 2 to the Privacy Act and TGA rules for software as a medical device. And most demos break once compliance, scale or evidence enter the room.

So we built three production-grade architectures live, in an Australian AWS Region, with Vanta on the compliance path and AWS on funding.
